About Us

History

North Construction’s roots trace back to 1994 when it was founded under Sierra Excavating. The mountains have been our workplace from the very beginning – the construction of Harmony Chair in Whistler to Peak Chair, Cypress’s Sky Chair, Collins Ski Run and even the early development of the Whistler Bike Park. In 2010, North was retained to provide budgetary and design options for the 2010 Olympics, ultimately making Vancouver the winning bid city.

With every road paved and every trail shaped, it was always more than just groundwork for us — we love becoming part of the landscape, connecting people to the mountains they love. Today, that same spirit drives us to take on some of the most rugged and challenging terrain, always pushing the limits of what’s possible.
