Office and Accounting Administrator
Description
The Office and Accounting Administrator role completes tasks related to the day-to-day operation of the office and accounting department
Reports to:
Controller
Common Roles and Responsibilities
Accounting
- Accounts Payable
- Payroll
- Reconciling corporate credit cards
- Assist with month end and year end tasks
- Accounting for equipment usage
Administration
- Answering phone and directing calls
- Managing employee benefits
- Office and kitchen supply purchasing and stocking
- Filing and organizing
- Assisting Project Managers as needed
Required Skill Set
- Organized and good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills and brings a positive attitude
- Bachelor’s degree, diploma, relevant certification related to bookkeeping or accounting (preferred)
- Payroll and Accounts Payable experience (preferred)
- Data entry experience (preferred)
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Vista Viewpoint and/or Heavy Job experience is an asset
Compensation Plan
- Hourly Wage
- North paid, Extended Health and Dental package
- RRSP matching to 4%
